VCDS VAG-COM 18.2.1 Problem:

I was able to register the VCDS 18.2.1 software successfully but now I can’t seem to get the port to work.

Installed vcds from rosstech
Installed loader
Pressed get register save file
Pressed register FAIL !!!
File out off spec?????
How can i fix this?

Every time i plug the cable into the car and try to save the port, it tell me that the interface is not found. But when the cable is not plugged into the car, the port works fine…..

Reinstalled the VCDS software and choose install 32-bit EXE on 64-bit System

Original Plan VCDS HEX CAN USB Cable Vagcom 18.2.1 Install Tips:


1. Must not connect cable to laptop untill you install well with software.
2. Must supply power when do self test for vcds cable.
3. When install obd2cartool.com online updatabe vcds cable english version you must choose the button: "install 32-bit EXE on 64-bit System".
